North Shore City is a proud principal sponsor of the inaugural Champ Wag'n'Walk event and are pleased that so many of North Shore City's dog owners and their pets will get the opportunity to showcase what the Shore has to offer to our greater Auckland neighbours. North Shore City with its natural environment is the perfect lifestyle city with beautiful bays and an abundance of parks. With Rangitoto Island on one side and some of North Shore City's prime real estate on the other the 3km course will provide a wonderful backdrop for participants and their dogs to get together and enjoy themselves. On the day of the event the North Shore City Council will have information about dog tagging and registration as well as a host of other information. In conjunction with the event organisers, Quantum Events, North Shore City Council will also ensure the event site is kept clean and will encourage dog owners to clean up after their pets so that everyone can enjoy this great place.
