The Auckland SPCA has been providing hands-on help to animals in need for 125 years. We one of the few charities in the country who do not receive Government or Local Body funding, operating almost entirely through the generosity of people who care.

Your support through this event will help provide value funds to continue the society's mission "to encourage the humane treatment of all animals, and to prevent cruelty that may be inflicted upon them.

2. Raise a minimum of $75 for a single entry or $150 for a family entry to gain your free entry to the Champ Wag 'n Walk

Donate to SPCA Auckland

You can make a difference to Auckland’s animals in need by becoming a HOPE® member. This involves making a regular automatic donation through your bank account or credit card. 100% of your contribution will go directly towards the battle to prevent cruelty and the ongoing costs of looking after the animals in our care.

These are some examples of just how big a difference you can make:
 
$10 provides one day’s food for two puppies and one kitten in our care
$20 provides four bales of hay for our rescue horses
$50 provides enough fuel to keep an Inspector on the road for one day
$100 desexes a female cat preventing hundreds of unwanted kittens being born  

You can choose how much you would like to give each month, and as well as enjoying the knowledge that you are giving hope, you’ll also receive the following:

Victoria Fedotova and Jack My family has always been a great supporter of SPCA and the work they do for the animals. Growing up we’ve always had animals around the house. This year I, my partner and our dog Jack wanted to do our bit to raise funds for SPCA, and most importantly to raise the awareness of the work done by SPCA.  It is hard to overestimate the value of the work SPCA does helping those who can’t help themselves, and we are glad that we and everyone else who has supported us in our fundraising efforts can help them in their mission.
